Irumbu Thirai (Abhimanyudu) is a Telugu movie action entertainer starring Vishal, Samantha and Arjun in prominent roles. It is an action thriller directed by P. S. Mithran.
This high-budgeted, hi-tech movie deals with a hard subject in a cool way, the makers say. Dialogues for the Telugu version of this Tamil movie are by Rajesh A Murthy. 'Action King' Arjun is playing a key role in this movie. Actor Vishal is a well-known face among the Telugu audience, who has made a powerful impact with his latest release Detective. Vishal is skilfully wearing the shoes of both actor and a producer. Now, Vishal is all set to release his upcoming movie for Sankranthi. Interestingly, the movie will class with Pawankalyan and Balayya's films. Vishal himself confirmed that they are releasing the film for Sankranthi. Actor Arya was supposed to do the negative role. But after shooting some scenes, the actor left the film. Arjun replaced him.
According to Tollywood buzz, Vishal initially thought of bringing in another actor (until then, he was on board as a producer), but after the narration finished by director Mithran, he expressed interest in acting. Going by what Mithran tells that he wanted the villain role. It’s that powerful but after being forced by the director he opted for being hero though and hence The antagonist role eventually went to Arjun.
This upcoming movie - Irumbu Thirai (Abhimanyudu) is in Telugu and which is also getting released as Irumbu Thirai in Tamil. The movie will hit the theatres in both languages during Sankranthi.
